How many BTU do I need for 20 m2?
A room up to 25 m2 usually needs 9,000 BTU, 25-35 m2 needs 12,000 BTU. On the sunny side or the top floor, add a reserve of about 20%.
How is a multi-split different from several separate air conditioners?
A multi-split is one outdoor unit on the facade serving several rooms. Separate splits are simpler and more reliable, but each needs its own outdoor unit.
Can an air conditioner heat a room in winter?
Yes. Inverter models with a heating mode handle spring and autumn well, and some work in winter too. If it is your main heating, choose a model designed for it.
